- Log in to the admin console: Log in to the admin console using the administrator account.
- Navigate to user account management: Select User Account Management from the navigation menu.
- Change user's drive mode: In the user account list table, locate the Drive Mode column. Select the desired drive mode for the user.
Drive mode
- Read/Write: The user can perform write operations (create, modify, delete, move, etc.) and read operations (view, copy, etc.) on files.
- Read-Only: The user can perform read operations (view, copy, etc.) on files, but cannot perform write operations (create, modify, delete, move, etc.).
- Add-Only: The user can create new files, but cannot perform other write operations (modify, delete, move, etc.). If they attempt to read (view, copy, etc.) files, the files will be altered with fake data.
- List-Only: The user can only view the file list. Write operations (create, modify, delete, move, etc.) are not allowed, and any attempt to read (view, copy, etc.) will provide altered files with fake data.
- WORM (Write Once, Read Many): The user can create new files but cannot perform other write operations (modify, delete, move, etc.). They can perform read operations (view, copy, etc.) on files.
