Viewing allowed apps

You can view the list of applications authorized to access the FilingBox MEGA server for each specific device.

  1. On the Device screen, click the Device Name of the target device.

  2. On the Device Information screen, click the [Allowed Apps] tab.

  3. A list of authorized applications (Allowed Apps) registered to that device will be displayed.

    • App Path: The full path and filename of the executable file authorized to access files stored in FilingBox MEGA.
    • App Hash: The cryptographic hash value of the application's executable file.
    • Access Folder: The storage path on the FilingBox MEGA server that the app is permitted to access.
    • Access Mode: The access permissions granted to the application.

The available access modes are defined as follows:

    • Read/Write: The app has full permission to write (create, modify, delete, move) and read (open, copy) files.
    • Read-Only: The app can read (open, copy) files but cannot perform any write operations (create, modify, delete, move).
    • Add-Only: The app can create new files but cannot modify, delete, or move existing ones. If the app attempts to read a file, the system provides dummy data instead of the actual content.
    • Read-Write-Versioning: The app can write and read files. Additionally, whenever a file is modified, a backup copy of the original file is automatically created.
    • WORM: Standing for "Write Once, Read Many," this mode allows the app to create and read files, but strictly prohibits modifying, deleting, or moving them.
