File management and data protection

  1. You can perform writing (creating, modifying, deleting, moving, etc.) and reading (viewing, copying, etc.) operations on user files in personal and shared folders using the same methods as with a regular file explorer.
  2. You can protect your data from threats like ransomware and data theft malware using the following examples:
    1. Smart Device File Management: A network drive connected to PCs, smartphones, and tablets to protect data.
    2. Mode Selection - Personal Folder: Choose an appropriate mode in the app to proactively protect data in the personal folder.
    3. Read-Only Shared Folder: Set the shared folder to read-only to prevent file modifications when sharing files.
    4. Add-Only Shared Folder: Prevent viewing and modifying existing files while allowing new file creation in the add-only shared folder.

    Note

    When managing files in personal and shared folders, the following restrictions apply to folder names and file names:

    • If the name consists only of multibyte characters (e.g., Korean, Chinese, Japanese, emojis), the length can be up to 85 characters (excluding the file extension's period . ).
    • If the name contains a combination of multibyte characters (e.g., Korean, Chinese, Japanese) and single-byte characters (e.g., English, numbers, special characters, period .), multibyte characters are counted as 3 bytes each, while single-byte characters are counted as 1 byte. The total length can be up to 255 bytes.
