Preparation

Requesting the "license key" and "key file"

Check the IP and MAC addresses of the server where FilingBox GIGA is installed and share them with your sales representative. Your representative will then provide you with a "license key" and a "key file" (product.key) for your environment.

Place the License Key File

Copy the license key file provided by your sales representative to the /opt/filingbox/giga/conf/ directory on the FilingBox GIGA server.

Restart the Internal Verification Server

1. On the FilingBox GIGA server, restart the internal verification server using the following command:

   systemctl restart keyverify

2. Next, use the following command to verify that the service is running correctly. If the Active status in the output shows active (running), the service has started successfully.

   systemctl status keyverify

   ...
   ...
      Active: active (running) ...
   ...
   ...

License key registration

Once the internal verification server is running, proceed to the license key registration step. Select Internal Verification Server as the license type and enter the following information:

• License URL: https://127.0.0.1:9443
• License key: The license key value provided by your sales representative along with the key file.
