FilingBox Enterprise is a document management system designed for large enterprises and public institutions, doubling as a network storage solution that proactively prevents ransomware.
FilingBox Enterprise provides a network drive for employee PCs and offers organization folders and project folders to manage documents according to complex organizational structures and project teams.

Specifically, when an employee PC requests a document from FilingBox via the network drive, FilingBox examines which program is requesting the document. It provides files with read-only attributes for all applications except Windows Explorer. As a result, even if the user inadvertently runs ransomware, business documents stored in FilingBox remain secure.

Target Customers

Although it can be used by organizations of various sizes depending on policy settings, it is most suitable for organizations with 100 or more members comprising departments and their employees.

Companies with more than 100 employees can configure department folders based on their organizational chart to manage departmental data structures. During annual organizational restructuring, administrators need to move existing departmental folder data to new organizational folders according to the updated structure.

For companies with fewer than 100 employees and frequent semi-annual organizational changes, it is recommended to use classification folders accessible by all accounts instead of department folders. This approach minimizes data loss due to department transfers.
