Admin Web UI: The web-based administration interface for managing the FilingBox MEGA server.

Allowed App: An application granted access to specific directories in the FilingBox MEGA server.

Audit Data Storage: Storage for administrator audit logs, requiring periodic checks and backups.

Audit Log: A record of system events, actions, and administrator activities for monitoring and compliance.

Client: The FilingBox MEGA software installed on Windows or Linux devices to interact with the server.

Data Encryption Key (DEK): A key used for encrypting data stored by clients on the server.

Device: The system where the FilingBox MEGA Windows or Linux client is installed and operated.

Encryption Modules: Modules used to secure client-server communication.

Event Code: A unique identifier for specific system events recorded in the audit log.

Installation Package: The compressed package containing necessary files and scripts for FilingBox MEGA server installation.

IP Address: IPv4 address format registered during installation to access the Admin Web UI.

Key Encryption Key (KEK): A cryptographic key used to encrypt and protect other keys (e.g., Data Encryption Keys). The KEK ensures that the confidentiality and integrity of the keys it protects are maintained.

Key Manager Module: A module for managing encryption keys used by the FilingBox MEGA server.

MAC Address: A unique identifier assigned to the network interface of a device, used for device registration.

Mount: A process to connect a directory from the client system to the FilingBox MEGA server.

SMTP: Simple Mail Transfer Protocol used for sending event-triggered email notifications.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): An additional security layer requiring OTP along with a password for login.
