Adding user
- Log in to the admin console.
- In the left navigation, click Users.
- Click Add user.
- Add user information.
- Name
- ID
- Password / Confirm password
- Select Drive mode for the user. (You can change their drive mode anytime later.)
- Click Add.
Deleting users
- Log in to the admin console.
- In the left navigation, click Users.
- Locate the Delete Account column in the user table.
- Click Delete that corresponds to the user you want to delete.
Resetting user password
- Log in to the admin console.
- In the left navigation, click Users.
- Locate the Reset Password column in the user table.
- Click Reset that corresponds to the user you want to rest their password.
- Enter a new password.
- Click Rest password.
Changing Drive Mode
- Log in to the admin console.
- In the left navigation, click Users.
- Locate the Drive Mode column in the user table.
- Select a drive mode (Edit, Read-Only, or Add-Only) that corresponds to the user you want to change their drive mode.
About Drive Mode
Edit: Users with the Edit mode can do any operation with files stored in FilingBox GIGA.
Allowed: Everything (Create, modify, delete, read, copy, and move)
Not allowed: None
Read-Only: Users with the Read-Only mode can only read files stored in FilingBox GIGA.
Allowed: Read and Copy
Not allowed: Delete, create, modify, and move
Add-Only: Users with the Add-Only mode can only add files into FilingBox GIGA.
Allowed: Create
Not allowed: Delete, modify, copy, and move
Changing Account Status
- Log in to the admin console.
- In the left navigation, click Users.
- Locate the Account Status column in the user table.
- Select an account status (On or Off) that corresponds to the user you want to change their account status.
While Account Status is turned Off for a user, the user is not able to access FilingBox GIGA. However, the files in the user's folder remains safe unless the user is deleted.
