Setting up FilingBox Team (Appliance-only step)
- Plug your FilingBox Team device into power.
- connect your FilingBox Team device to your router with an Ethernet cable.
- Turn on your FilingBox Team device.
Adding FilingBox Team device
In order to connect to your FilingBox Team, you first need to install the FilingBox Team Windows client on your computer.
Requirements
- Windows 10 or 11
- Network connection to your FilingBox Team server (Internet, firewall, etc.)
After installing FilingBox Team Windows client, you first need to enter its IP address or domain, and port number in the Device list.
- Run the FilingBox Team Windows client.
- In the login screen, click Connect to FilingBox Team above the Log in button.
- In the Device list, Click the Add device.
- Enter the device address(URL or IP address) and port (10080 by default).
- Click Add. (Devices on the same network can be automatically discovered.)
- Select the added device.
- Click Connect.
Logging in to FilingBox Team
- Run the FilingBox Team Windows client.
- In the login screen, check the device currently connected. If no device is connected, please follow the Setting FilingBox Team server address and port steps.
- Enter your account.
- Click Log in.
- Either the Initial setup screen is displayed or the FilingBox Team drive will be mounted (mapped) in Windows File Explorer if the initial setup process has been completed.
